Benefits (North America)

At Epsilon, we recognize that benefits aren’t a one size fits all proposition – what's valuable to one associate may be less important to another.

We’ve created a comprehensive competitive benefits program that is designed to allow associates to choose the benefits that best fit their needs depending on where they are in their lives. Full time new hires become eligible for most benefits on the first day of the month following 30 days of employment. The following is a summary of the benefits offered to US Epsilon associates.

Health and wellness

  • Medical

    Epsilon’s medical offerings include 2 medical plans. The PPO plan is a traditional plan with both in and out of network levels of coverage and annual deductibles. We also offer a Consumer Driven Health Care plan, which gives associates a bank of money (HRA) to use for their services. Unused funds roll over from year to year with no limit.

    In addition to the high level of preventative care we offer in our medical plans, Epsilon supports associates in their efforts to achieve and maintain good health. We offer healthyAlliance, a voluntary program where associates earn points through healthy activities that make them eligible for a discount in their medical premiums.

    Epsilon offers 2 traditional dental plans, a PPO and Dental HMO.

    We offer a standard EAP to support our associates and their household members in times of crisis.

Security and savings

  • Disability

    We provide both short and long term disability programs for associates that offer a level of protection for health related, extended absences from work.

    Associates and their eligible family members are eligible for life insurance (some company paid and other optional benefits available.)

    We offer an employee paid optional Accidental Death and Dismemberment plan for associates and their family members.

  • Pre-paid legal

    Basic services such as document preparation are covered under this employee paid benefit provided by Hyatt Legal (divorce and child custody services are not eligible).

  • 401(k)

    Epsilon has a 401(k) plan with a lucrative company match. After 6 months of service, full time associates are eligible for the company match. For every dollar you put in, we will match it up to 5%. For every dollar in the 4-5% contribution bracket, we will match $1. So, for every $5 you set aside, we’ll give you $5 and there is no vesting for this portion of the plan.

  • Flexible Spending Accounts

    Just like the 401(k) plan, we like to give associates the chance to lower their taxable income by setting aside pretax dollars in a Flexible Spending program for eligible health care and dependent care expenses. Our health care FSA plan provides a debit card to participants for ease of use.

  • Employee stock purchase plan

    Epsilon is part of a larger publicly traded company, Alliance Data (NYSE symbol ADS). We offer our associates the benefit of a stock purchase program where participants can purchase ADS stock at a discount. Purchases are made based on the average of the high and low trading price on the purchase date with a 15% discount applied.

  • Adoption assistance

    We offer associates reimbursement for adoption related costs up to $2,500 per adoption.

  • Tuition reimbursement

    After 6 months of service and with manager approval, full time associates are eligible to be reimbursed for tuition, books, and fees for business related degrees, up to $5,250 annually.

  • Backup care

    We provide associates a bank of hours for backup care (in home or a licensed participating center) that they have the option to use for unexpected situations where there is a breakdown in their normal day care (e.g. when schools are closed due to holidays, kids are sick and cannot attend regular day care or day care is needed in other situations).

  • Wellness reimbursement

    In addition to healthyAlliance, we also offer a Wellness Reimbursement Program which allows associates to submit eligible expenses such as gym memberships and weight loss programs for reimbursement. This program operates independent of our health plans, so you don’t need to participate in an Alliance Data sponsored program to participate in this program.

Time off

  • Holidays

    Epsilon recognizes 8 holidays throughout the year: New Years Day, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve Day, and Christmas Day.

    Associates at Epsilon are given paid time off based on years of service (first year is prorated based on date of hire):

    • 0-5 Years – 15 Days
    • 5-10 Years – 20 Days
    • 10-25 Years – 25 Days
    • 25 Years – +30 Days

  • Sick time

    In addition to holidays and vacation time, Epsilon also offers 5 sick days per year(first year is prorated based on date of hire). Benefits described above are provided for US associates and delivered through our parent company Alliance Data. Canadian associates are eligible for benefits through our sister company in Canada, Loyalty One.
